Every homeschool family is different, and sometimes you just need a little extra support.

After 24 years of homeschooling my own six children, teaching homeschool classes, leading co-ops, and writing curriculum, I understand both the beauty of homeschooling and how overwhelming it can sometimes feel.

The Homeschool Helper was created to come alongside homeschool families right where they are. I provide personalized, in-home support based on the needs of your family and the way your child learns best. That may mean helping with schoolwork or a difficult subject, providing hands-on learning activities, working with a struggling learner, helping with organization or curriculum, or simply giving Mom a few hours to step away while I continue the school day.

My approach is encouraging, flexible, and relationship-based. I especially love hands-on learning, literature-based studies, creativity, and finding different ways to help a child understand something when the traditional approach isn't working.

My goal isn't to replace the homeschool parent—it's to be another person in your corner, supporting both you and your children and helping make your homeschool journey a little easier.
